Our Transport and Travel policy promotes the use of public transport and alternatives to car use by staff and visitors alike. Our Corporate Social Responsibility action plan promotes the use of public transport and alternatives to car use by staff and visitors alike.
There is comprehensive travel information on the University's website:

Details of how to get to and from the airport are available from Bristol International Airport.
There is limited visitor car parking available at the University although this is primarily for visiting academics and those on University business. It is the responsibility of the department expecting a visitor to book a space in advance. There are multistorey car parks about ten minutes' walk from the main precinct as shown on the map or you can consult Bristol City Council's car park finder.
Bristol City Council's Park and Ride services allow you to park without any difficulty on the outskirts of the city. A bus transports you into the city centre and means that you can travel without experiencing the congestion or parking problems of central Bristol.
ILRT is situated on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of 8-10 Berkeley Square, a listed Georgian townhouse with complex access facilities and many changes of level.
There is disabled wheelchair access from the disabled parking area (parking must be reserved in advance) to the rear of the building on the ground floor and an internal lift to fit wheelchairs to meeting rooms and offices on the 1st and 3rd floors. The Hawaii Suite and videoconferencing facilities are on the 3rd floor, with level access from the lift. Some offices on the 3rd floor are accessed via short flights of stairs. The 2nd floor has no lift access.
If you are a wheelchair user or have any other disability which would require the use of an 'evacuation chair' in the case of fire or other emergency, it is currently necessary for you to bring two helpers to assist should evacuation be required.
