functions of Netscape bookmarks menu, under 'view' or right-click on a folder

set as bookmarks menu (only this folder is displyed when you click on the bookmarks icon)

set as toolbar (this folder is the one you see on your toolbar)

set as folder for new bookmarks (instead of having them go into the top folder)
All of these are difficult to undo once done

make available offline - useful if you are browsing from home

click on a folder or bookmark

click "make available offline"
then you can look at the properties of this, including link depth, when to synchronize and so on.
