RDF Calendaring and Scheduling example data

libby.miller@bristol.ac.uk 2001-07-23

The information below is very out of date - a much better place to start is the recent work at W3C RDF calendar taskforce page and testcases We've started documentation: RdfCalendarDocumentation and there's an overview and links (--Libby, 2004-11-01).

This is calendar data of various sorts I've created about meetings. The schema will change - some of it is already changes to the 'hybrid' schema by Michael Arick and Libby Miller.

Timezones

In iCalendar, Timezones should always be referenced unless the data is in UTC. I've tried to create some timezone RDF files below - I make no guarantees that they are correct, though I have tried. Reference them using something like this:

  <ical:DATE-TIME>
  <ical:TZID rdf:resource="http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/06/content/tz/CET.rdf" />

http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/06/content/tz/GMT.rdf (includes BST)
http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/06/content/tz/CET.rdf (Central European Time)
http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/06/content/tz/PT.rdf (Pacific Time - includes PST and PDT)
http://ilrt.org/discovery/2001/06/content/tz/ET.rdf (includes EST, EDT)
